A Spacious Venue for Events, Parties and Functions
High Bickington Community Centre is the ideal venue for hosting public events, private functions and birthday parties – big or small. We have multiple function rooms of different sizes to meet your party’s requirements. All rooms have access to a light and airy reception area which acts as a useful meet and greet/welcoming area or as a break out area away from the main party. The reception area provides scenic views across the Devon countryside and moorland area, perfect for creating stunning photographs.
The Community Centre is a versatile and affordable venue that also provides the perfect setting for fundraising and charity events.
A Well Equipped Venue
We are located in High Bickington, North Devon – nestled between Exmoor, Dartmoor and Bodmin moor. This peaceful rural setting gives The Community Centre the advantage of being able to offer picturesque outdoor space and woodland area, as well as having the use of the inside halls, kitchen and facilities.
The Community Centre’s kitchen is fitted with 2 ovens & hobs, fridge, commercial dishwasher and a water boiler. We can supply crockery, cutlery and glassware for up to 100 upon request.
Our Main Hall has a wooden sprung floor, a cinema size drop-down screen and projection equipment. We also have a handy portable stage (6m x 5m) available for performances and presentations. The stage can be set up in multiple arrangements within the hall to suit your needs.
Stunning Outside Space and Woodland Areas
The Community Centre is set in large open grounds which provides guests with access to beautifully kept outside space and woodland area. The outside areas are popular for children’s birthday parties and summer events.
