Located at the southern end of High Bickington are the beautiful and tranquil Quarry Wood. Planted in 2005, the woodland has matured into a delightful asset for the village.
Managed by a dedicated group of local volunteers, the wood has won several awards, most recently the Devon County Show’s Gold Award for Best Community Woodland in Devon.
Whether you fancy an afternoon stroll, hosting a gathering around the fire pit or somewhere peaceful to spend a little time, Quarry Woods is the ideal spot to head for.
Please note the wood is available for the enjoyment of everyone. Camping in the wood is not permitted.
